I coordinate position-taking as the secretary of Finance Finland’s committees within my area of responsibility, participate in working groups preparing new regulation and represent Finance Finland in our European partner and umbrella organisations.

What’s something valuable you’ve learned during your career?

Those who prepare new regulation and those who make decisions on it share the same good intentions, but their views on substance and means may differ. A competent sector expert brings their expertise and the perspective of their reference group to the discussion, while also listening to those with differing views.
