My responsibilities include planning and implementing lobbying, as well as maintaining contacts with decision-makers and the media. I ensure that we communicate in a timely manner on the issues that are most important to our lobbying objectives. From time to time, I also pick up the pen or step behind the microphone as the host at one of our events.

What’s something valuable you’ve learned during your career?

Lobbying and politics – like life in general – are a long game. It’s important to maintain good and trusting relationships in all directions and always to provide reliable and clear information. Trust is the cornerstone of lobbying.
