In my role as Director, I oversee the Financial and Prudential Regulation team. The team’s responsibilities encompass regulation on the capital adequacy, liquidity, resolution, financial reporting, accounting and supervisory reporting of banks and insurers. I also serve as Chief Economist.

What was your background before starting at Finance Finland?

My earlier career includes an extensive period in various economist and director roles at the Bank of Finland, two periods as a researcher at the VATT Institute for Economic Research, and an assistant position at the University of Helsinki.
