I am the director of the Pension and Life Insurance & Preparedness team. The team’s responsibilities also include welfare financing. As a qualified actuary, I contribute to matters related to insurance mathematics and financing as well. In addition, I am involved in international activities, particularly through Insurance Europe and actuarial associations.

What was your background before starting at Finance Finland?

I began my career in the pension sector more than 20 years ago, working on practical actuarial calculations. Before joining Finance Finland, I spent a total of ten years working for public authorities: first at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and then at the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.
