Finnish financial sector summarised in ten pages

Work in the Financial Sector 2019 has been published. The publication combines the results from a number of studies, surveys and statistics, including publicly available resources on working life and employee competencies.

Work in the Financial Sector 2019 discusses the requirements that arise from the changing nature of work in the sector, with a particular focus on skills, competencies and the importance of lifelong learning.

Wages in the sector are competitive and the number of personnel has remained more or less level despite the tumultuous times. The sector is predominantely female, but the gender differences have gradually begun to balance out. On the executive level, there is still room for improvement.

The publication is complemented by two sets of slides that take a closer look at the personnel and their competencies and educational backgrounds from a statistical viewpoint.
