EC consultation on the feasibility assessment for a potential EU referral scheme

  • European Commission

  • Finance Finland does not see any need for a mandatory referral scheme.
  • In Finland the availability of financing to the SMEs is good and the amount of rejected applications is low. During the pandemic bank lending has remained stable and banks have offered payment holidays etc. to help their customers.
  • Public information services for SMEs are quite extensive and there are also private consultants helping companies to get financing.
